The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is a key component of the European Union’s (EU) digital finance package, aimed at supporting digital transformation and innovation in the financial sector.
Its main objective is to harmonize requirements across EU member states to ensure that all financial actors have the necessary safeguards in place to mitigate cyber-attacks and other information and communication technology (ICT) risks.

DORA frames digital operational resilience through the following five pillars:
